Meet: Karen Walker
We're so very proud to present in collaboration with New Zealand designer, Karen Walker our 2nd range of Bobby mugs, in a selection of colours from Karen Walker’s latest collection.
Karen Walker started her brand 30 years ago and it has since grown into a global success; boasting runway shows at London and New York Fashion Weeks - fans including, us (of course), Meghan Markle, Michelle Obama, Rihanna, Lorde, Lady Gaga and Adele.
The Karen Walker label was built on the fundamentals of leading with a great idea, which radiates through her ever-growing ranges of products and colours that the label produces through their namesake labels, and in collaboration with globally recognised companies.
At home the designer described her home, which she has owned for the past 10 years, as her "happy place". On the domestic front, she finds cooking a joy but is quite happy to leave picking up after Laika the dog.
Fashion designer Karen Walker lives in an art-filled Ponsonby villa that she describes as "chic meets eccentric".
